Description

This workshop takes students on a journey to understand the unique aesthetics, craftsmanship, and cultural significance of traditional Chinese landscaping. Guided by expert tutors, participants will work in teams to construct and design a garden inspired by classical Chinese art and architecture. On the day of the workshop, students also gain free access to the galleries of the Palace Museum, enriching their learning with exposure to authentic artefacts and exhibits. The workshop encourages creativity, collaboration, and understanding of Chinese cultural heritage through interactive learning experiences. Outreach workshops are also available for schools upon enquiry.
