Target Audience

High school or university students aged 16-22, eager to work with youth aged 13-15, comfortable using English (non-native speakers welcome, no Cantonese required). No prior teaching experience needed, but must commit full-time to the program.

Description

Summerbridge Hong Kong is an 8-week summer program (June 13 to August 7, 2026) where Student Teachers design and teach interactive English-language courses, lead electives and sports, organize events, and evaluate student progress for groups of 8-10 youth aged 13-15. To obtain a position, download the application form from https://summerbridge.org.hk/doc/2026StudentTeacherApplication.pdf, complete sections on personal info, skills, essays (e.g., handling commitments, mission connection, ideal classroom, creative personal statement), course design (subject, topics, projects), electives/sports preferences, letter of intent, and references (including one reference letter). Submit via email to info@summerbridge.org.hk or mail by deadline. Interviews via Zoom cover teaching ideas and experiences; applications reviewed on rolling basis.
